Where is my data stored?
Your expense records — amounts, categories, notes and other transaction details — are stored on your device, and may sync through your personal Apple iCloud account.
Mote's developer does not operate a separate server that collects or stores your expense data. Your use of iCloud is subject to Apple's privacy policy and iCloud terms.
Does Mote collect my data?
No. Mote does not collect, sell, or use your personal or expense data for advertising or tracking.
Do I need an account?
No. Mote does not require a separate account. iCloud sync uses the Apple account already configured on your device.
Are there analytics or ads?
No. Mote does not use third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics services.
Is my data shared with anyone?
Mote does not share your expense data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Can I edit or delete my data?
Yes — edit or delete any record directly in Mote. Synced data may also be stored in your personal iCloud account and handled according to Apple's iCloud policies.
Will this policy change?
This policy may be updated if Mote's features or data practices change.
